Provisions is an exploration of the importance of sharing traditions, stories, and histories, and the impact of that process. Viewers walked through the installation in order to arrive at the focal point just as we must all make the effort to preserve traditions and learn from our histories and our Elders. Participants decorated a “Tradition Box.” Fill the squares of the template with an activity or skill taught to you by an Elder, or reflect on a particular memory, individual, tradition etc... and place it within the circle of Elder portraits so that your story is shared.
